The new gallery of Kitagama
Kasen has now opened right next door to
the workshop.
Traditions and skills passed down through the years
are combined with
the natural ingredients of Seto and Akazu to create
the fine tableware
on display.
The three components of fine pottery have always been
the pure clay,
the best firing and expert workmanship.
Our family have come from the days of making Akazu-yaki
for the
Tokugawa Shogunate, to making beautiful art for the
modern table.
Please feel free to drop in while walking around the
Akazu pottery
district. |
